What to consider when comparing window quotes. Part One

1. Window specification (this is the biggest one)

Check exactly what you’re being quoted for:

Frame material: uPVC, aluminium, or timber-alternative

Profile system: (e.g. Deceuninck, VEKA, Kommerling, etc.)

Glazing: double or triple glazed

Glass type: low-E, argon-filled, laminated (security), acoustic glass

Energy rating: look for A-rated or higher
